Geotextiles & DOT Specifications

JAN 2020

The Oregon DOT has developed its own geotextile specifications. They appear to be informed by AASHTO M288.

We do not recommend a woven slit-film such as US 315 for Embankment applications even though it meets the specification.

Oregon DOT does not have a QPL for geotextiles. Strata geogrids are listed on the QPL for geogrids.

Below are US Fabric's geotextile and geogrid products that meet the Oregon DOT specifications, listed by their application.

• The above information is to be used only as a guide.

• Products on the above list can change without notice.

• ODOT does not have a QPL for geotextiles. Strata geogrids are listed on the current QPL.

1) US 315 meets the specification, but we believe this application is not suited for a woven slit-film product.
