Bank of Kentucky Reinforced, Vegetated Slope - Case Study

A 21 foot high reinforced slope was constructed at the base of a parking lot for a local bank. After constructing it with welded-wire baskets and utilizing Strata geogrid for reinforcement and as part of the facing element, it was seeded. The result is a natural looking structure.

  • Stratagrid SG 350 reinforcement
  • Strata MicroGrid facing grid
  • Welded Wire Form Baskets 10' x 1.5' x 1.5', bent 90 degrees
  • Baskets are 4 gauge wire, mesh opening 4" x 4"
  • Tensile strength 70,000 psi
