Carthage Mills 4%HD US Fabric Equivalent is US 230

NTPEP APPROVED - GTX-2019-01-284. US 230 is a woven monofilament filtration geotextile made of 100% high-tenacity polypropylene yarns. US 230 resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 230 will satisfy the requirements as outlined in AASHTO M-288-06 for Permanent Erosion Control & Subsurface Drainage (<15% fines) and meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Carthage Mills 4%HD is a woven monofilament geotextile of high-tenacity, monofilament polypropylene yarns which are woven into a stable network such that they retain their relative position. Carthage 4%-HD™ is inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. AASHTO M 288-06: Carthage 4%HD exceeds the geotextile requirements for Subsurface Drainage/Classes 2 & 3 (Woven: Percent ‘in-situ’ soil passing 0.075 mm = <15%)and Permanent Erosion Control/Classes 1 & 2 (Woven: Percent ‘in-situ’ soil passing 0.075 mm = <15%.
