Carthage Mills 15% US Fabric Equivalent is US 1540

NTPEP APPROVED - GTX-2019-01-286. US 1540 is a woven monofilament filtration geotextile made of 100% high-tenacity polypropylene yarns. This product's Percent Open Area of 10% gives it excellent hydraulic properties, while reducing the chances of clogging. US 1540 resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 1540 meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Carthage 15% is a woven filtration geotextile made of high-tenacity, monofilament polypropylene yarns which are woven into a stable network such that they retain their relative position. Carthage 15% is part of the Carthage % Open Area Series of woven monofilament filtration geotextiles, is inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids.
