Carthage Mills FX-60HS US Fabric Equivalent is US 160NW

NTPEP APPROVED - GTX-2019-01-296. US 160NW is a nonwoven needlepunched geotextile made of 100% polypropylene staple filaments. US 160NW resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 160NW will satisfy the requirements as outlined in AASHTO M-288-06 for Class 2 applications and meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Carthage Mills FX-60HS is a multipurpose nonwoven geotextile of polypropylene staple fibers which are formed into a random network, needlepunched and heatset for dimensional stability. FX-60HS is part of the Carthage FX-HS Series of nonwoven geotextiles, is inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. AASHTO M 288-06: FX-60HS exceeds the geotextile requirements for Subsurface Drainage/Class 2 (nonwoven – all soil types), Separation/Class 2 (nonwoven), Stabilization/Class 2 (nonwoven), and Permanent Erosion Control/Class 2 (nonwoven – all soil types / with engineer approval).This data sheet for Carthage Mills FX™–60HS  is provided for comparison purposes only.
