Propex Geotex 401 US Fabric Equivalent is US 120NW

NTPEP APPROVED - GTX-2019-01-295. US 120NW is a nonwoven needlepunched geotextile made of 100% polypropylene staple filaments. US 120NW resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 120NW will satisfy the requirements as outlined in AASHTO M-288-06 for Class 3 applications and meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Geotex® 401 is a polypropylene, staple fiber, needlepunched nonwoven geotextile produced by Propex®, and will meet the following Minimum Average Roll Values (MARV) when tested in accordance with the methods listed below. The fibers are needled to form a stable network that retains dimensional stability relative to each other. The geotextile is resistant to ultraviolet degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils. Geotex® 401 conforms to the property values listed below. Propex® performs internal Manufacturing Quality Control (MQC) tests that have been accredited by the Geosynthetic Accreditation Institute – Laboratory Accreditation Program (GAI-LAP). This product is NTPEP approved for AASHTO standards. This data sheet for Geotex® 401 is provided for comparison purposes only.
