Geotextiles & DOT Specifications

JAN 2020

Georgia DOT does not follow AASHTO guidelines. The specifications regarding geotextiles are very limited. Embankment Stabilization Fabrics is done by Special Provision only. For Geocomposite Walls Drains, 88.2.05 refers to QPL 47. We can find no actual specifications for wall drains. The following US Fabrics products meet the specifications. US 80NW, US 100P & US 670 are on the Qualified Products List.
