Iowa DOT does not follow AASHTO M 288 for their geotextile specification. Below are US Fabric's geotextile products that meet the Iowa DOT geotextile specification (per the GS-15005 Revisions), listed by their application. US Fabrics products are not listed on the Iowa DOT QPL and the table below is offered as a guideline only.

Regarding approved products: Requires "NTPEP (National Transportation Product Evaluation Program) test results for all classes of Engineering Fabrics. Products which have been tested by NTPEP and meet the requirements of Iowa DOT Specification for the class of product may be approved after receiving NTPEP test results."
