Geotextiles & DOT Specifications

JAN 2020

US Fabrics products are listed on the Approved Materials List. The Ohio DOT has developed their own geotextile standard specifications and do not follow AASHTO M288.

However, for inclusion on the Approved Products List, they do require that "products must be tested by the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP). The Department will determine acceptance of Type A, B, C and D fabric according to data obtained in the most current NTPEP report– Laboratory Results of Evaluations on Geotextiles and Geosynthetics." US Fabrics and our products have been audited, tested and certified by NTPEP.
