Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)

fhwaThe Federal Highway Administration has created a specification based on (6) applications: Subsurface Drainage, Separation, Stabilization, Permanent Erosion Control, Temporary Silt Fence and Paving Fabric. These applications are then broken down into Types which identify geotextile construction (woven or nonwoven) and required strength properties. Below is a guide to help you decide which US Fabrics products are required for the FHWA project you are bidding. National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS)

nrcsThe NRCS has its own guidelines for applications such as animal trails and walkways. The specification is broken down by geotextile construction (Woven or Nonwoven) and subdivided by (4) strength classes. Below is a guide to help you determine which US Fabrics products are required for the NRCS project you are bidding. Association of Railway Engineering & Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA)

aremaAREMA has a specification for Railroad Track Stabilization. It is broken down by Typical Weight. Those weights consist of Regular (10 oz), Heavy (12 oz), and Extra Heavy (16 oz). Below is a guide to help you determine which US Fabrics products are required for the AREMA project you are bidding.
